motion
Hi, my name is Evert Hilhorst and I am a student at Communication & Multimedia Design in the city of Breda. My main course is Multimedia Design and i'm also very interested in interaction design. This page is dedicated to a single project I did called simple "motion". Within this project I researched the possibilities for an outfit in witch the user should be able to interact with all kind of systems.

I created a wireless prototype with 2 accelerometers and 2 feedback buzzers. It connects with my computer trough a Bluetooth connection. The accelerometers are allowing me to recognize different kinds of motion and even a few gestures so far.
The first application I developed is an application I use for vee-jay gigs. The user and wearer of the outfit are in control over the visuals. The project itself is already still under development as I am still finding new stuff to do with it. At this page you can follow me while doing and I would like to hear from people about their opinions on my project. You can contact me with the contact form at my contact page.
